Bridal Veil Falls

Located a few miles up from the mouth of Provo canyon, Bridal Veil Falls was named for its appearance, which is very similar to a bride's veil (thank you Captain Obvious).
An old Indian legend tells the tale:
Poor Norita. Not only did all of the other Indians never let her play in any Indian games, because of her unfortunately strange name, but she never got to marry her true love.

The falls are also quite popular during the winter time with ice climbers. The ability to top rope the route makes it appealing for beginning climbers, and the convenience of the location makes it a hot spot for experienced climbers as well.
